The newly structured General office of state registration and statistics presented statistics for January 2016.

The socio-economic data with expert in-depth review confirmed that with suspension of foreign investment in mining sector, number of unemployed had significantly increased.

Number of registered unemployed citizens reached 34,600, which is down by 3,3 per cent (1,200) from previous year but the number added another 1,800 registered in January with labor exchange. 53,1 per cent of all unemployed are male (624,600). 

The economy slowdown and reduction of staff by entities had contributed to number of unemployed as well.
